I got a new toy!

I'll be playing with this new lens. Take a guess at what lens it is...

Sweeeeet.

I used to have a 10-20mm but I sold it since I didn't find the focal length all that useful. I've been seriously considering either the Sigma 10-20 again or the Tokina 11-16. The Nikon fisheye is appealing but I don't think I'd use it all that much.

I could see how it wouldn't be that useful to some. I've been using it because the fisheye effect is fairly minimal, so it makes for a great wide angle. I just picked up at 50mm today off one of the forums I'm on. I've been enjoying my camera a lot lately, almost enough to take the next step and pick up a different body.

Yeah it doesn't look too extreme in the picture. The Nikon fisheye is a 10.5mm and it really shows. Although I'm sure I could come up with some cool images, it wouldn't be worth it for $500. I used to be big on collecting lenses and trying to get every focal length covered but then I'd have all these lenses and I'd barely ever use them lol.

You get a 50 1.8 or 1.4?

Its the 50 1.8, they're fairly cheap either way, but the 1.8 was what I found first.
