Nice stuff, I think that's gonna be my wide angle as soon as I do that switch i was talking about before. I'm loving flash photography, I started off with an SB-400 about a year ago and started to get into bouncing and stuff but I soon wanted more so I sold the 400 and picked up a 600 back in September and started doing some off camera stuff, and in anticipation for a xmas shoot with Santa I'm doing this upcoming weekend I decided to pick up a second one and God does it make even more of a difference! Plus you can do neat things like this one where I underexposed the room, had one light on her and another one placed behind her to shoot into the fireplace.

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet!

My equipment might not be the newest or flashiest...but I'm pretty sure it's the most expensive stuff in the thread to date...

Here's both of my OEC's. 9600 is the one shooting vertical, 9800 is the one shooting horizontal

Sorry to disrupt this thread. I just got home from a 17 hour work day (+ 1 hour driving time each way = 19 hour day) and I thought it'd be good for a laugh.

I've seen some of the coolest photographs ever coming from a guy who took an Xray and used it to photograph things other than humans.

Why are people posting pics of what they shot?? wtf?

Is a show me you gear thread...geesh.

On that note, I just ordered the Canon 24-105L IS USM Lens. It better be worth it. Now I just need 16-35L f/2.8 USM USM and the 10-20 USM

This thread would have maybe 2 pages if all we did was post up our gear, and not enough active users here into good photography to designate a separate thread to just pictures other than cars. Also most of the pictures being posted up have been taken with the new gear someone has, which IMO is much more interesting than reading about what they got or seeing a stock photo of it.

Then in that case originate post/title should reflect that. Otherwise its just a camera gear/pic whore thread.

I mean I agree. We get new gear and we post up a pic of it with a sample image or two and a review.

But I don't agree putting up random pic from all our old gear because in that case it can easily get fluttered with pic randomness.

The 24-105 is nice all around lens and sharp! I have try it out it for week great lens but my only con is that it only F/4....

My advice don't the 16-35 and then 10-20....it waste...you would be better off with 10-20mm and 24-105mm for your set up....or the 17-55 f/2.8 from Canon...that is awesome lens with L series quality....

I orig posted this a help to me and other looking into going DSLR which has great impact! Answering questions and learning thing about photography, which this thread had become. Posting pictures is just showing our love for photography and sharing something else then picture of Fits! For me it landscape photography. Plus we don't have thread for us photographer.

No offense but if you don't like the thread get out of it LOL. Noone is braking the rules or doing anything they aren't supposed to, its not hurting anybody and it's keeping the topic going. Every once in a while a thread will evolve and take a slightly different turn in direction, there's no reason to complain or change the title and everyone else sees that and accepts that except you.

Eh HD movies in DSLRs are kinda gimmicky. I've use it with my D90 a few times, it's not all that bad but it's not great either.

Yeah they're pretty cool, I really like the Reverie video, I remember seeing it when the 5D mkII was released. I've got a few videos, it actually is pretty handy but it's not something I always go to.
