yea but that wasnt that in a beginner race? the rubber band effect sucks. we need to play some expert races!! new update at midnight!! i am going to spend all night tuning cars for all the expert races.

did you tune it? hahaha i just played all the a class races i could with the clio and i kicked ass at every one. there is no performance point cap on most of the races. tune away!

on the clio, just go maximum power, least weight, the R compound tires, height is at -3 in the front, -4 in the rear. dont mess with the damper or the springs too much. maybe one or two clicks here and there. just see how you like the feel first, and change accordingly. uhh, brake distribution 8 in the front 6 in the rear. turning angle at 38, traction control off, abs at 1, then for the gears, just change the final drive gear to about 188 miles top speed.

you should be flying with those settings.

 

oh and also go into the other menu and set the difficulty at standard and turn off all the stability helpers and all that nonsense that makes you go slow when you gas it in a turn.

 

i can't find where to tune it though...is it before the race? cause theres only a few things i could do there like traction...

yea, its in the menu right before the race under quick tune. also, dont worry about the tires, i think they already give you R1 tires for those races. when you cant change tires, it means that the race has restrictions on what tire you use.

 

also you cant tune in class b or c. only in A and S class.

 

oh kelso...i have to COMPLETE A class in order to do quick tune...i can't do it still

 

ok kelso..all i did was turn of traction...and now all i have to say is i should not be passing ferrari's, gtr's, and r8's on the beginning of the 4th lap on a 5 lap race...thanks for the help...i realize that how i am a cod4 god u must be a gt god

 

hahaha i dunno about a god, but ive been around. i love all the gran turismos. i got gt5p when i was in japan like three months before it was out in the us. beat that one, then i got the us version, bought every car in the game plus four F1 cars so you could say ive had alot of "behind the wheel" time. hahaha

 

i think the most fun aspect of gt5p is when you are doing an expert race online and people actually are trying to avoid collisions, but still being fast, waiting for their opportunity to get a clean pass. it seriously feels like real racing. i love it.
