not mine my new 80gig cant play shit ! lol thay need to get this new patch out for the play back like thay have said thay were going to do for a long time then we will be able to play them all, but im not sure if any of you guys rread up on it what ones play what and what cant play anything and why. but, i guess the bone head engineers dident config the program to use play back(forget what its called already) but in the old 60GIG it was a chip set i think and thats why thay play all ps1 and ps2 games and the 40gig like the new 80gig cant play any. but thay are going to come out with a patch to where you will be able to play all games on any PS3

 

yeah the original 20 gig (what i have) and 80 gig i think? had the Emotion chip which emulated PS2/PSX on the PS3

later versions had software that came with the PS3 which booted software to emulate PS2/PSX games

but nowadays it's no backwards compatibility at all

 

come on guys get on PS3 so we can get somthing going

yea i bought mine in jan 08 but it can only play japanese ps2/x games.

ok guys so what games to you all play online with on ps3 GT5, call of duty 4 (which im not buying becouse i beat it for PC sooo long ago and played online for so long im burnt out LOL) is there any other games? metal gear solid the new one LOOKS SICK lol anyone ahve that yet? what about grid or saints row. in opther words if you were to get another MMO for PS3 what would it be ?
