Does anyone know how I can set my work PC running Windows XP to automatically turn on about 10 minutes before I get to work?

I find myelf clocking in late to work lately because my computer takes 10 minutes to warm up in the morning. they have been turning off all of the computers at night, i used to be able to leave it on in sleep mode.

 

yeah unless you can remotely connect to it while it's in standby mode you can do that.

but since the power is off there's nothing you can really do about it.

I'm assuming you have a desktop?
@ my job i have a laptop w/ 2 monitors so i just pull the laptop out of the docking station when i'm done and pop it in when i get to work and it's ready to go.

glad you liked the spoon fit sig. i was thinking of going back to that one. the spoon fit is amazing. when i get home, i'll change it back. my current one isn't very clean anyway. i'm not great at photoshop...

 

pay somebody who gets there earlier a dollar a day to turn it on for you ;]

 

i am the same way tufo, what finally happened was my boss just started assuming i would be late and started turning it on for me

 

ahh that would be really cool if you could set it up to turn on automatically
