We're cooking soup right now, with everything that was left - cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas, green onions..
I'm a vegetarian, so most of the time we cook meatless. It's cheaper, too

It was every dog for himself around here tonight - we spent the day out at a huge airshow and everyone was tired and thirsty.

1 son had leftover buffalo wings and a carrot
Hubby had leftover chili and 2 corn muffins
2 son had what few buffalo wings his brother didn't eat and a nut bar
I had new chili/chicken/rice soup and 2 corn muffins and about 50 gallons of water so far.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I have this stuff every damn day!! Arroz con frijoles negros y pollo panisado (rice and black beans with breaded chicken)! Or bistec (beef/steak). Only I don't have it Puertorican style, just Cuban style. I love the way my grandma cooks. If only I could talk to her (she only speaks Spanish and I can only speak butchered spanish).

A Margarita (rocks/salt), a beef burrito enchilada style plus sour cream, a Margarita, then when I arrived home, mint-chip ice cream.
