You're not too far off actually, and it depends on one's definition of music. If you go by something as simple as structured sound that pleasing to one's ears, well, it fits in nicely then. If you want to try something a bit more traditionally structured, but along similar lines, try Einsturzende Neubauten. Pure classic German noise.

Keep in mind, that vid is well over 20 yrs old, I remember buying a copy when I was in HS, and I'm 39 now (and still own it).
