Yeah, but the stage is "toddler," because you toddle around on your legs.

The others are putting up childhood pics, not baby pics. (says the person who hasn't put up any yet)

That's me on the right. Big Sis on the left.

I was standing up by myself at age 5 mos. 3 weeks. That's pretty early - too early in fact. My parents probably ruined me by allowing it. And the frilly panties just sealed the deal. If they were still alive, I'd sue them for that.

I had the mumps in this photo and was asleep holding one of the neighbor's kittens. I always had a cat or a dog or some animal nearby when I was younger. These photos are fading over time. Just as well I scanned them in...

Yeah, go on, make fun of me, I'm not THAT old! I still smoke people at red lights, even in a Fit.

Kind of a somber Santa, though, wasn't he??

Henry Ford built his first Model A car in 1903, but the Model T was his big success, and that was built starting in 1908.

Here is a typical car from 1950.

Black and white photos were much more common until the 1960s and 70's, when color film got cheaper. Up to that point, if people wanted color pictures, they usually shot slide film.

I was born in 1957, thus all my baby and childhood photos are in black and white. That must seem totally antique to you!

Black and white photos are still much better quality than color - or can be, if the photographer knows what he/she is doing. They are easier to retouch in development.

All you youngsters who have grown up with digital cameras are mystified at the idea of "film!" Ha ha.
