Not really, I might tell him I'll pray for him or ask him if he wants to talk.
It's just meant as a type of ending to the transaction, not to dictate your mood, in the first place. sheesh.

I have a sense of whether the person I say it to can take it, I mean, has a sense of humor.
I always smile, after saying it.
