Pokemon?

Is anybody else surprised that pokemon is still around? The last time I bought pokemon cards was like... 6 - 7 years ago because everybody was getting bored of it. I walked to target today with my ladie friend to buy some cat food and I saw pokemon cards at the cashier register.

I bought a few packs for fun just to see what kind of imagination these guys have after 10 years of cards. And Im suprised they can still make weird creatures.

Anybody else still have theirs? Just curious to see where my mind has been the past few years...

She made fun of me because I boguht 2 packs...

Pokemon was the best!! I still have all my old cards and I still have most of my old games for the Game Boy (Advance and DS as well). I plan on getting the new game, Platinum. But it is ok, because I'm 15.

Ill never forget Pokemon red and blue for gameboy. Yellow was kool, I never got any more after that but like he said that was like 8 years ago haha.

The cards are kool, I dont plan on buying any unless im at walgreens getting some chips or something and I have a few bucks left over. Just for fun...

But yeah I also got into Yugioh (how ever you spell it) and also digimon for a little bit when I was a youngin. Yugioh was kool, thats where all my allowences went haha.

I kinda wish I kept all of them considering how much money I spent on them years ago...

LOL The old Gameboy games were the best, I spent hours playing them, and ending up not even beating it. Yellow was the best evar!

Then YuGiOh came onto the scene and that took over for a year or two, and it was cool because you could actually play with them. But people got overzealous and it got annoying.

The best thing is, I still have all my old cards!! They best be worth a fair bit of money in a few years (lol for car parts maybe ).

Lol go look on ebay. A full set of the original cards in mint condition go for thousands of dollars. I tell you the price some people will pay for this...

I think 4 bucks a pack is kinda high so.. haha
