My Interesting Sunday.
Figured Id share how my Sunday went. Deff wasnt an ordinary Sunday.
Started out great. Went to Battle of the Imports are OSW. LOTS of fast ass cars, the Fit family, friends, weather was great, and so on. We were all there for a few hours.
Ended up going home around 4pm. Ate some dinner and took a nap. Sun drained me. When I woke up I decided to drive my Vw around. She hasnt had much love. Took her out for probably 30min. I get a text from Nelson (good friend) telling me hes waxing his Fit. So I make my way to his house.
Im on Aloma Ave, making my way to Tuskawilla. I speed up a tad (didnt even downshift. MmmM, torque) and get in front of this truck. I make my way to the 2 lane turning lane. I make me way to the far left lane as Im first. I hear horn going off mad. Me; "WTF is going on?!?"
I get to the light.... Within 30sec my shirt gets grabbed and I get punched in the side of my head twice.
People next to me roll down their windows and ask; "WHO THE **** WAS THAT!?!"
As Im wondering what the hell was going on I tell them that I had no idea. I call the cops as Im looking into my rearview. The guys just sitting in his truck like nothing happened.
Shorten it up, Cops show up within 2min after hanging up. Fastest ever
I didnt press charges. Kinda regretting it, however I think it would have been a waste on my part. Time from work. If I was promised money, of course I would have done it.
Guy said I cut him off and was street racing? Now where the other car was, couldnt tell you? Yes I sped up to get in front of him, but I didnt even downshift.
The people next to me backed me up for everything. They said I did nothing wrong, the guy was riding my ass and stopping short.
My ear has some pulled skin, it was bleeding last night but other than that Im good.
The guy was 45ish or so. He apologized, shook my hand and looked crazy nervous after the cops had talked to him. I could have put him in jail last night. Maybe I should have? Maybe I should have asked him to give me $500 and Id drop it all?

Ray that really sucks I would have sent his ass to jail. I myself probably would have ended up in jail for getting out and trying to beat the living hell out of him after he hit me.
That would sure ruin your day! You were very nice not to pursue legal action. I just hope the guy learned a lesson and doesn't take out his agression on another innocent person like you.

I know I should have pressed charges. But I dont think I would have got anything out of it.
Everyone I know is actually mad I didnt press charges.
But yes, Im fine. You cant even tell on my ear. Last night it was noticeable.

you should have pressed charges not to gain anything, but to teach that guy a lesson. theres too many hot-headed drivers around. he probably needs needs anger management, and it probably wouldve been court.

And this is why i can't carry a gun in the car. Because he would be dead. I would have killed 3 punks 2 years ago for the exact same reason had I have had a gun then. But i'll be getting one for the car soon enough. LMAO
