Upgrade FROM 3G iPhone?
Hey, i'm getting rid of my 3G iPhone. Want to upgrade to something newer and fancier.
Here's what i need in a cell phone:
1) 3G
2) Wi-Fi
3) Decent Camera
4) GPS
5) Awesome display (for example, a AMOLED screen)
I'd LOVE to get the Sony Ericsson Satio (Idou)

But, it's not available in CND
I would also like to get the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD

But it's too much $$$ ($930)
I'd like something very fancy/sofisticated, but obviously not something like the Nikon 8800 Carbon Arte, which is priced through the roof:

Any suggestions??
I know that the new Nokia N97 is out, but it's twice as much as an iPhone! (close to $1000)
PS: dont' really care about the style (clam,slider...) nor do i care if it has a full QWERTY key board

1) 3G Check, 4G Capable
2) Wi-Fi Check
3) Decent Carrier Check, I've had verizon/at&t/t-mobile and hands down sprint is the best
4) GPS Check, included sprint nav is the closest to a standalone GPS in terms of accuracy/performance
5) Awesome display (for example, a AMOLED screen) I don't know if it's AMOLED but the screen is really vibrant w/24-bit color and I always have it on minimum brightness, even in daylight
I don't know what's best for you, but I just got the Palm Pre, it's badass.
Palm USA - Mobile Products for Consumers, Professionals, and Businesses
And I have the wireless charger, it's awesome. Just plop it on the base, it makes the "plugged-in" chirp, and it's charging. No connectors/ports to break.

The thing about all those cool Ericsson and Samsung phones you read about on Engadget and such... they'll never hit any carrier with a subsidy.
That means you'd have to purchase it retail, which will be 700-1000 bucks.
I recently went from a G1 to a iPhone 3g, but the only reason I did is for work e-mail. I thought the G1 had a good keyboard, a responsive touch screen and most importantly, an open platform: Android.
That being said, there's plenty of quality phones out there that will do what you need.
