Damn that's really sad news..he was 50 or 51?

I was hoping he'd perform again, even if it was in Europe...he had 50 concerts sold out in minutes!!

RIP M.Jackson The one and only King of Pop.

For whatever it's worth, not much I'm sure to most, I actually met the man and shook his hand one time.

All I can say on the matter, was that he was cordial and polite to me.

hmmmm..... all i know is that since he is gone they are going to take the 75% of plastic that was on his body and recycle it to the lego factory so that kids will be able to play with him for a change.

I hope you guys didn't forget that 2 days before now, you would all be screaming "MOLESTER!!"

Sorry but I just don't really care. I miss Heath Ledger more. The new Batman will suck

It's funny how when he was alive most ppl would critisize him, now that he's dead they parise him.

Sid, that's so cool that you got to meet him and even shook his hand man! Most ppl who become famous in music, simply continue it. But Michael Jackson was unique in that he started a whole new type of music himself, at an era when racial discrimination was still high. All gotta say is 765 million records sold..very few ppl achieve that.

i always loved MJ, personally i don't think he molested them.....although he did dye his skin, and even once he was white he could still dance, that impressed me the most

Same here, agreed.

Sure he was weird and it showed, but then again he didn't have a normal childhood anyway (I call it "the price of fame") so I think people should've cut him some slack.

No one can deny his talent though. Even when spoofed (Weird Al Yankovic had a couple of hilarious ones), his songs still sound ridiculously awesome. Seems like he was a performer from cradle to grave.

Made a blog post recently to honor the man...here it is if you care to read it.

blue piranha talking: Celebrity and fame killed Michael Jackson
