It was awesome when we destroyed Portugal 2 world cups ago.

Hope we do the same to England!

Shocking? Yes. Destroyed? 3-2 is not what I'd consider destroying.
Anyway, Portugal is in a tough group.. Brazil... lol should make for a great cup.

We'll advance for sure cause England will be the only problem for us.

The other team I root for, Brazil, has a semi tough bracket.

First game June 12th for USA!!!

Yea very interested in seeing USA do well.. Brazil always plays strong. Group g is arguably the toughest group (per fifa's website )
Brasil and Portugal's record against each other is 1-1 ..who knows what will happen.
Obviously I'd like to see Portugal come out of the group , but Brazil is no joke.. so exciting!

Portugal was supposed to be "the shit" that year and we left them stunned. I'd say they were pretty destroyed.

Lol.. I'm sure They were upset. What team wouldn't? Like I said. . Shocking. .

3-1 would be closer to "destroying " territory lol

LOL so many people in Brazil have similar names.

There's a Thiago Silva! I wonder if he does MMA on the side.

Remember STUPID of the MILLENIUM, of all time, IDIOT ZIDANE???? I could not BELIEVE that head butt and we were watching the game!!! WHY WHY WHY Zidane? You idiot. You had so many young kids watching you do that. You pissed away the cup by losing your temper.

YouTube - Zidane headbutts Materazzi - BEST ANGLE *****

I hope not to have to see anything like that, nor Ronaldo's wimpy-ass diving either. What a pretty boy, he's no Beckham on the field. Even if Beckham was weird off the field, when on the pitch he was totally concentrated and a team player.

These days, with all the trading of players, the US team has come up even with some of the international teams, something I never thought I'd see. I was amazed when we beat Portugal. Maybe we'll make the semis this year...we can dream...

Hope we will do good at the worldcup! We have very good attackers ( Robben, Sneijder, van Persie, vd Vaart, Huntelaar, Kuyt and Babel ) but we are'nt good in defence...
