Don't be a cheap mofo...

Just when you think you out smarted everyone by being a cheap ass mofo...

My so called "fancy" $250 set of lugs VS. your $70 set of lugs

Do you see the big picture??? Now put yourself in it... then what???

So what happened here did you sprain your back stripping a lug key? Or even worse heard a pop somewhere?

The only thing I don't like about kics is they stick so far out the rim anyone cane take vise-grip to it...no key lock needed... its happened to me.. Would never pay 250 ever again.. just my opinion....

You can put a water/methanol injection setup on your car for less than $250.

I would guess that you went with an R40 coz that's the only way you can get a vise-grip onto them...
I'll be damned if anyone can get a vise-grip on my R26...

@TC: LOL a water/methanol injection setup won't help on a broken lugnut key... but I do get your point

I'm just saying that in most cases... we get what we paid for and if we weren't able to track a spare key, his car would have been deemed useless for hours or overnight or even a tow. $180 saved ain't worth all that and he was forced to pay $25 for a $7 key and bought himself a decent set of lugs which set him back $160. I dunno... but looks like my $250 will pay for itself for the life of it
