FF.net Forza 4 Thread
Based on the last few posts in this thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...cs-my-fit.html
it seems there could be some interest in setting up an FF.net Forza thread/session.
My GT is: iSnogEmmaWatson (Made that jam when I was 12, come at a pre-teen bro)
Add me, I'll be on for a 7-9 PM Forza jam sesh tonight.

Sad part is I had a fully paid for pre order copy of F4 at Game Stop that I let my friend have when my last CrapBox red ringed

Oh I like where this is heading...
I unfortunately still need to renew my gold account, but in the mean time could we maybe do a time-attack style thing? I'm pretty sure we had a thread before and did it, but not enough people participated.

I would be down for that.
Shoot, I'll set it up right now:
A class cars
Circuit de Catalunya
No restriction on aid, hp, tires, weight, drivetrain layout
NO LOBBY CARS (Lotus Exige, etc.)
Only clean laps count
Round ends Monday @ 9 PM.
New track/class will be announced Wednesday.
We could do a live race after each round and even a sort of points/championship system, if people are down for that.
<-F4 dork.
BTW, do the laps in "Free Play" -> "Hot Lap" then they'll show up on the 'leaderboard' for your XBL friends.

Looks like I'm gonna have to spend time fine-tuning an A car tonight...the leaderboards really do make this so so much easier. Can't wait for a C class round (I spend most of my time tuning my FIT which is maxed out at C). Cody do you wanna be the guy to confirm laptimes?

I wish I had Xbox Live out here. The internet connection out here is HORRIBLY slow for gaming... even for Skype video calls. lol
I disagree on that. Horizon may not be nearly as good as FM3 or FM4 BUT in terms of it being a massive free-roam racing game its not bad. Better than Test Drive: Unlimited 1 and 2 but lacking when compared to say Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2) or even Burnout Paradise.
What really killed Horizon in my book was the lack of tunablity for your upgrades as well as not having any cops in free-roam. In addition to that, there wasn't nearly as vast of a selection of cars in FH compared to ANY FM game as well as there were a few in game cars that you couldn't drive despite seeing the AI racing them.

Its easier to explain if you had XBL haha.
On the leaderboards for fastest time, on each track/class, there tends to be one or two cars dominate the top of the leaderboard.
Like for A Class, on most tracks the fastest or many of the top couple hundred are dominated by Lotus Exige.

And to people that might be reading this thread and thinking "these guys are taking this seriously and I'm not at all fast on Forza"
Just post your times up, this stuff is fun, even if you're really slow.
