I'm just starting a new Thread here cause, I'm new for one thing. I looking a all the thread dates and there's like no 2012. So I'm thinking we

Could start thinking of gettin together and burns some burgers or drink some juice. But I'm afraid you guys and gals all left before I got here.

Never did one of these before but I planned other types of weekends, so lets start talking about it. and if I can find peeps in Ohio we could invite people from around Ohio, PA OR WV for example.Time to drive.

 

I tried to get something going last summer, but there arn't very many people in the ohio area I guess.

 

I see fits aleast 1 every 3 days, 4 of them on a regular basic. I think if we tried to do this again we would have to do some real grassroots work. I'm sure we would have to see if we could bring other States into the community like PA. or Michigan, west virginia - that might be a bit of a drive for them, but in a fit its fun. Or we could drive towards them. We could round up like 4# fits here and drive to teledo. Maybe meet at a honda dealership.

How much work did you put into your 1st attempt? Did you have any help, We are having the auto show in cleveland this coming week, I sure my dealership well be there.

I think I could find like three fits, owners to that might be interested. Maybe me and you could do alittle networking or ck. with other communities to see how they pull theirs off. What do you think? I've never done one myself.

 

I made 1 phone call that turn into 3, Just for the heck of it I called the Cleveland Hts. dealership and asked if they've heard of anything like this, or even had they done it. Yes on both counts I will call him on Monday. U known just to see, what up, maybe he can put me in touch with some folks. BTW he thought it was a great idea.

We got to start some where's. Like I said before we dont have to have it at a dealership. Schoat333 what do you try to do. I like to know so I can learn somethings.

Know of a couple of more peeps that might be interested, Someone also posted that there is a meet called East Coast Honda Meet. fawbusha was his name, his said to PM him interested. Dont know exactly where this is maybe WV.

 

Its held in the spring and summer months, Lots of old timers there luxury liners,pure muscle cars, trucks, Harleys - Honda's motorcycles. I seen one customized civic there, They have prizes, but I'm sure theres a fee.

We could meet there and plan. Or just hang out they play old time rockin roll on speakers, its actually a very easy goin car show held every Tues night. the folks are willing to talk about their cars.

It a huge parking lot we could just park in the back of the show, so like there would be a fee I'm guessing of the fee stuff. Hey buts its a start.

There's one located in Independence Ohio.

 

so like when we going, I dont know for sure but on tues. nites behind the solon cinema there is a small car show, we could meet up there too. I dont think it's started yet.

 

There's a big one here in Brunswick too, but still too cold for people to come out.

I say Quaker steak, because there's nothing better than some wings, beers, and car talk.

I've met there with other car groups in the past, and its been fun.

 

So r we thinking of a date, If we r maybe 4 wks from now, so I can alert folks give them time to make those arrangement. We have to start somewhere so why not there.

 

bringing this back to life. I wanna find some more fits around here. I was lucky enough to meet workin.on.my.fitness before the last import alliance and would love to meet some more with the same interests. lets get something together guys. Maybe a group cruise to import alliance in Charlotte?

 

Hey you guys should give me a week or two to get something sorted out.

While it may be a bit of a drive, I'm going to try to have a multi-state/multi-platform micro car meet.

 

im in. as long as its not too close to the end of july, import alliance is a bit of a drive as well.
