Changed out the tranny fluid, aka motor oil. Replaced with honda mtf, smooth moves after that.
Remounted the steering wheel till it pionts north when driving straight.
Refinished the Si with red base and color shift. Looks red till the sun hits it then it turns purple.
Got 2 100 watt led lights for the garage's outside pad, With these we're open 24/7, lol.

Replaced the shifter with a brand new short shifter and urethane bushings. Cleaned the s.s. exhaust system which nobody can see but looks shweet. Took her for a test drive to see how the the shifter felt, way better, doesn't feel like I'm stirring a gallon of paint when shifting gears. Then took the grey 89 for some fun, need to drive it more. : ^ )
And hung 1 light. These are are so bright compared to quartz without the heat! And electricity.

It was a good day.

Changed out the upper control arms, installed a clear timing cover, made a battery hold down, the bungy cord was a little too dangerous.

Replaced the hacked harness, and hooked up the rear speakers. Honda lands the rear speaker wires on the rear tail light harness, @ the brake lights.

Engine is arriving 6.12.19, my buddy at work and I are trading vehicles, I'll use his truck to deliver the motor from work to home, and he'll drive my Fit! Need to add a little "o poppa's recipe" to the gas for that extra kick. ;^)

Mock up

Got the last pieces from pick n pull today. You can't beat a good find in a junk yard, but 4 or 5 makes the day even shweeter!
Met some really good folks there, helped pull a transmission with 2 guys. Then helped 2 young fellers pull an intake from a z6 motor they're installing it on a CRX that has DP.
Then i found a dc2 console, Kenwood stereo, all my wiring, 2 vtec solenoids. It was a very good evening ; ^ )
