I take it Honda motorcycles don't count but it was motorcycles that introduced me to Honda Motor Company over 50 years ago. 297,000 miles and still counting on 18 Honda motorcycles. Current stable:

2006 Goldwing
2013 NC700X
1986 Elite 80

The fallen:
2008-2010: 1992 Accord LX sedan, my first car.
2010-2011: 1992 Civic CX hatch (GSR swapped)
2011-2015: 1999 Integra GSR, one I dearly miss...
2012-2014: 1986 Spree, which got stolen after I swapped it.

Current Honda lineup:
2014: 1993 Elite 50, with a '94-01 Elite 50 engine.
2016: 2009 Fit, the one we all know.
2016: 1975 CB360
2020: 1999 Civic Si, selling next month.
2020: 1974 CB125
2021: 2000 Insight

Including my yellow 15 Fit LX, I own 3 presently. The other 2 being a 2006 Accord EX 6 speed V6 sedan and a 2009 Ridgeline RT.

My 15 was a replacement for my recently sold $500 1997 Civic DX 5 speed coupe. Had a bit too much rust for my taste. I don't mind high miles (the Accord has 230k), body damage (every Civic I've owned, my last one was Civic #4, had that in spades), or even salvage history (purchased the Ridgeline from a Copart auction with a salvage title and one of my old Civics, a purple 1994 EX 5 speed coupe, was purchased with a rebuilt title), but I cannot stand rust.

It's funny, I'm a self-proclaimed Toyota and BMW guy, but have owned Hondas the most.

My personal cars:
- 2001 S2000
- 1999 Civic EX 4 door 5spd
- 2015 Accord EX-L
- 2007 Fit Sport 5spd

Others in my family:
- 2006 Odyssey EX-L w/ RES (mom)
- 2009 Accord LX (dad)
- 2015 CRV LX (mom)
- 2018 CRV LX (mom)
- 2020 CRV EX-L (wife)
- 2021 Passport EX-L (mom)

Long list of Hondas I'd like to own at some point in my life:
- EK Civic hatchback
- DC2 Integra GSR
- DC5 RSX Type S
- CL9 TSX 6spd
- UA6 TL 6spd
- EP3 Civic SI
- FA5 Civic SI
- FK8 Civic Type R

Not hating on the Fit, love them, but I can't think of what you are comparing it with.
I'm not sure if you meant "in 2015" or "ever" in the USA but the early 70s Honda Civics sold in the USA had 1.2 then 1.3 liter engines. The 1.5 liter 12 valve I4 CVCC came in 1975.
