Naw, TCS, I think this is a puerile exchange and wanted to lighten
things up a bit. It was a joke.

Whoo... This used to be easy in the Old Days.
These days (and your car is probably very similar to my '91 Integra in this
regard), the functions of the key-in-door-open, seat belt buzzer, etc., are
all handled by an Integrated Control Unit, behind the driver's side kick
panel in Civic-based vehicles, and probably in Accords as well.
That ICU has a small piezo-electric beeper, identical to those used on
computer motherboards and modems. That's what makes the annoying noises.
Basically, if you disable one audible warning, you disable them all, which
is exactly what I did with my Integra. The way I did it is amazingly crude:
a #8 wood screw, tightened by hand through the hole in the plastic housing
of the beeper component. The screw presses against the beeper's metal
diaphragm and prevents it from vibrating. I did this in 1994 and it's still
in place today. It did take a while to disassemble the kick panel to the
point that I could get the ICU out, but there appears to be no other way to
do this on a Honda.
You can also try disconnecting the seatbelt switch at the buckle, but the
cars I've tried this on are smart enough to sense this and permanently
illuminate the warning light, which is also annoying.
Hope this helps.

During that era I'd simply find the buzzer and unplug it.

Buckling your seatbelt is usually the best way to shut it up.

Holy Crap...this thread is why I didn't buy a Honda...too many prepubescent punks slinging mud back and forth about absolutely NOTHING. My wife on the other hand....likes her Fit and doesn't read Honda forums. I'm trying to find out how to disable the seat belt chime and I read a 5 page post and not ONE solution...just a bunch of people bitching about why you should wear a seat belt. Sheesh... Volkswagens don't have @#! up issues like this thank God. German engineering rules!

Every car has it's issues the VW's seem to have many. One of my sales guys won't even take his Passat our of the city for fear of not being able to get home. VW...LOL!
