It's nice... but what gives with the markup? The standard Civic is 21K USD, what exactly did they add (other than the Mugen badge) to increase the price by 30%???

Plus, no release in Canada makes me care even less :( Whatever, I will go buy a CSX Type-S in spite!

Mugen suspension, body kit, spoiler, Mugen cat-back exhaust, and a new shifter.

Its hard to believe someone would buy a $30k Civic. Mugen parts or not...I could think of so many other cars that are worthy of a $30k price tag...
For a couple thousand more I would get a Nismo 350z...

Well diffrent strokes for diffrent floks i guess, i think 350Z's are low quality rattle buckets, nismo or not.

I think its awesome that someone can own such a rare car for 30k. Plus its a Honda and im a big Honda fan..

it's supposed to be a limited release of 1,000 so it's gonna be more rare than just a civic

Your right, different strokes to different folks. I just cant see spending near $30k on a Civic with different wheels/suspension/exhaust and some new body panels... maybe $24k...maybe...

But thanks to people like you, companies could sell anything to anybody with the right marketing. Honda says, lets throw mugen name on our civic and all of these Fast and the Furious generation kids will buy it whatever it is or whatever the price...so they can say they have something JDM, haha

Honda is Genius!

Haha, yeah i guess your right in a sense? But i would own the car keep it in awesome shape and down the road it would go up in value if Honda only makes 1000. Probaly the only car for 30k that will go up in value. But in all realality i would rather have a BMW 135i, for a couple grand more..hehe

I'm not impressed...

with 30K i could get myself in an S2000 with more than enough to put at least 300RWHP and then call it a day.
