i was browsing Autoblog this afternoon and saw this article about the death of Colin Mcrae. which is sad because he was one of the best Rally Driver.

sad news indeed, he was an awesome driver.

 

Wow, I cant believe it.
That is truly sad news.

 

very sad to hear this Colin is major reason why im so in to cars my goal was and still is to build a rally car but i dont have the resources to do so but anyways you will be missed R.I.P. Colin

 

what are u serious i cant belive this he was the man and i saw him not to long ago in the x games when did this happen ?

 

yeah man he died i think the 15 dude...

 

yea it was on the 15th i did my research and found it. he died September 15 with his 5 year old son in a helicopter crash. may they rest in peace

sad for sure, and the poor mother of the child , man that sucks. 5 yrs is so not fair, Colin at least got to enjoy many years of life.

 

yeah man... i heard many ppl with subaru's and other car that he drove during the rally events had a meet giving respect to Colin...

 

Yes it is very sad to hear that Colin is gone.
He is one of my favorite Rally drivers of all time. Just last year also one of great Rally driver has passed away, Richard Burns and he was young. Strange both drove for Subarue.

I thought I was coping with it well until I just came across this tread at FitFreak, I am even still a bit mortified with how Richard Burns died!

How tragic...

I would get over it sooner if the WRC migrated to the US or atleast was publicised more. Hell if american football has migrated to England then I DONT THINK THIS IS TOO MUCH TO ASK!!! BASTARDS!!!!

But I digress...
He will be missed and will continue to inspire others through stories and whatever media one should so choose...
