Fifth Gear: UKDM Civic Type-R vs JDM Civic Type-R
Fifth Gear: UKDM Civic Type-R vs JDM Civic Type-R
JDM CTR of course! according to them it's faster, more powerful, more agile. and then obviously it's got 4 doors and is larger. and i like the look of the sedan more than that hb. so what's better about the hatchback typeR?
hahaha. i think i'd have an orgasm driving the JDM CTR too, not! maybe.
Ukdm Ctr!
I'm suprised that fit afficionados prefer the jdm version, especially since the uk version type r is built on a variation of our (usdm) fits chassis. Its like the ultimate version so to speak.
I love the way the jdm type r looks though, as i've been a fan of the newer civic's styling. But the uk type r is AMAZING, kudos for honda for not being conservative and showing people who think that they are plain as bread that they CAN come out with a bad ass desgin that is also functional. Even a slighlty dumbed down version of this car as a regular civic hatch would do SO well for the us in the U.S.! I recognize the slight superiority of the jdm version, but the styling of the uk version alone gets my vote. Plus its k20 is tuned different than ours and gives a little more torque significantly sooner.
