Hi,

I have a V6 2000 Honda Accord and yesterday saw that the brake lights,
doors lights and the trunk light all stay on after starting the engine.
This persisted for some time and then went away. I hear a "humming"
sound now which I think changes with the rpm.

Has anybody seem similar problem and any guesses as to what might be
the cause of it.

I believe your alternator is on its way out.
