One weakness of the generally lovable Honda Element is interior noise,
including notably road noise coming up through the hard flooring.

I suspect this could be helped quite a bit by some thick carpeting.
Does anyone have experience in doing this, or pointers to sources for
carpeting specifically for the Element?

 

How about some noise absorbsion material on the under-carriage? They
have sprays to do this...
