I'd just import a Fit from the US...

 

The cost to get it up here is more than you'd have to pay at a local dealership. That and local dealerships are beginning to not honor any warranty work on US bought cars. It's only worth it if you get a car with a difference > $10k.

 

Test drive them both, then take the 800mile trip down to the US to buy the Fit if that's what you decide.

best of both worlds (...Countries, whatever).
