Did any cross-shop the Suzuki SX4?

I didn't look at one because I didn't want the fuel economy penalty of AWD and the bigger engine, but I've heard lots of good things about this car. I was in NYC last weekend and saw them all over the place, though they are less popular here in CT. Definitely a really nice looking car, especially stock! I think the Fit needs to be lowered to not look dorky and "econoboxy". I love the plastic fenders and the headlamps. I've heard that the engine isn't as willing to rev as the Fit's though, but definitely more powerful with ~140hp.

Anyone check these out? It seems like a very logical competitor to the Fit, with nearly the same exact price but more engine and AWD.

My friend has one and I actually borrowed it today while my Fit was getting worked on. I've driven it plenty and I like it. It handles great and drives great. The only thing I don't like about it is how the rear seats fold. It doesn't give as much room or folding options as the Fit does.

I looked into it a little bit but the gas milage made me pass it up real quick.

I checked a vibe, matrix, fit, versa, yaris, and scion Xd. The fit was my hands down favorate. I looked at some others online like the focus, caliber and sx4. They didn't apeal enough to make me want to go deal with salesmen.

We looked at them, but the quality of dash, door panel, and seat materials turned us off. For us it came down to the Civic Si, Fit, or WRX wagon. Wife chose the Fit.

I looked into it. Even drove it a couple times. Went with the Fit for mpg. My cousin ended up getting one though, he likes it but complains about the mpg lol. :D
