2009 Honda Fit vs. 2009 Toyota Matrix
#21
Dr. Franklin,
I was looking at the Matrix/Vibe myself. I decided to wait for a few reasons. One is, the Matrix/Vibe start out quite a bit more expensive than the Fit, similarly equipped. Secondly, the 2009 Fit isn't out, so I have to wait to take it for a spin!
I found this just today, another car I want to take for a test spin (need to wait for its release too):

I think I would wait.. they got a few new features on the 09 fit that you like, Howver, i think with the ivtec introduced on the engine there will be more options available in the near future. Pehaps a sunroof perhaps a little more power.. I know the 09 is rated @ above 120ps.. Its got the armrest and truley... the factory radio is nice but the reception is not that great. For a few hundred bucks you could install a nice headunit with blue tooth and xm capabilty and it look just as nice if not better than the factory unit. Consider going to a nicer shop and looking around. maybe it will hold you off untilyou find exactly what you are looking for....
