CR-V - what years to consider?

I am considering replacing my f-150 as the family hauler, vacation vehicle,
4x4 snow vehicle.

What years of cr-v under $17,000 U.S. value are better than other years
based on reliability, quietness, options, etc? annual use will be appx
5,000 miles including vacations ranging from 250 miles round trip to 1000
miles a couple times a year in summer and winter..

I am giving up towing my boat, but does anyone make a personal use snow plow
for the CR-V that works in maybe 4-6 inces of snow for a not too big
driveway?

Looks like 2001 is my focus - AWD, auto, LX or EX.
I see many for sale in the $9k+ range.

I found a 2002 that needs front end repair - can I tow with a front end
dolly from NJ to CT - 80-120 miles appx. ? Automatic.

Flatbed it. Do not tow it with just one set of wheels on the ground. You
will ruin the tranny.
