Haha when I saw the title "My Acura," I was hoping for it to be a Legend! Hahaha. My dad drives the sedan Legend and it really is a nice car but it feels too heavy for me. It's way better than the Fit for long-distance driving, but I'm not a fan of how hard the accel and brake are. The Fit is just so light it's hard to go back and forth (which I do often when my dad's too lazy to drive :D).

I really do like the coupé more than the sedan, it's an awesome car, but my dad's sedan is sexy too. Got my license in that thing and my dad loves it to death but it's getting closer to 300K miles and it's starting to crap out. My dad's looking into some S2000s so we'll see. :]

Great pictures, great car.

Thanks, I've got a soft spot for this car. I looked at your flickr account and you have some really nice work there. I've been thinking about a macro lens, how much did that Sigma cost you?

Yep, the Legend is my favorite Acura next to the NSX. I know what you mean by it feeling heavy, it is a 3500 lbs car. The first time I drove a Fit I almost drove the clutch pedal through the floor it was so light :o. The sedans are really nice, too, but the coupe is just a different car. 300K is just past break-in for a Legend :p. Is your dad a member on acura-legend.com ?

Thanks for the comments!

Nice Legend, I had an '87 5 speed sedan that went to 256k miles before it got stolen. I had just replaced it with my WRX a month prior. It was a nice touring car with a great stereo.

Thank you for the compliments :) . The Sigma goes for around 4-500 regularly I believe. I picked it up for like 350ish on sigma4less.com, it's been amazing so far. The macro works pretty good but it's only 1:3. Which is still pretty close but it's nothing like a true 1:1 macro.

Yeah, the Legend really is a great touring car. Great for long hauls and very comfortable.

Really? only 1:3? I think the Nikon kit lense does 1:3.2. Never-the-less that Sigma seems like a very sharp lense at a great price. I think I will have to keep looking though because I want something closer to true macro.

Love those back in the days.
Your is in excellent condition.
Used to hang out with one of my old friend in his brother Legend with chrome wheels and sound system.
Those were the days.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm kind of surprised at the amount of love the Legend is getting. I thought only Legend owners really loved the Legend.

As to the Legend being Honda's Skyline, I have seen a very convincing Legend > R33 conversion. They do share a few body lines, now if only the Legend had AWD or even RWD.
