Free engine out of a Honda Accord

My cousins 1999 Honda Accord got plowed into from the rear while parked and totaled out. The guy was s*** face drunk. Anyway, he told me I could have the engine and transmission if I wanted it. Does anyone know what series engine came in this car? Would it be worth taking from him? He was like "you drive a Honda, want another Honda engine?"

yes they are, but man have u seen what they are doing to it? It's going to be fully built with ITB's and everything.

Anyways, just take it and sell it for profit! if u got it for free, i'd take it if i had a place to keep the car around. Stick it on craigslist, it'll sell.
