90 Acura Integra
Recently bought a 90 Integra, ran fine, it has an after market alarm
with remote start, came out the next morning car would not start,
checked voltage at pump had none, replaced pump, still no voltage,
replaced relay, car started fine several times, the next morning car
would not start.
The alarm, Avital, says it will disable the starter when tripped. The
Haynes book says if factory alarm is tripped the car will disable the
fuel system.
Does anyone know how to reset the factory alarm? Help!

If you're getting no-start after sitting overnight, try what the Owners
Manual says for flooded engine (assuming yours is an injected engine).
Hold the pedal to the floor and crank it for up to 15 seconds at a try.
If it is flooded, it will start with a puff of smoke. If that fixes it,
run a can of techron injector cleaner thru it, or a couple tanks of
gasohol. Worked for me. Injector stuck open dribbles all the pressurized
fuel into the engine overnight.
