The arm rest is on the seat now
Not sure about a console but I don't see how one would fit

It really illustrates the differences with the US market.. we like our big bottles!
What about the two rear pop-out cup holders, will they hold a 20oz bottle?

My opinion:)...the additional space in the console (although it's not much but it can hold a few cd's) and the armrest definitely outweighs the smaller cupholder problem. I can just buy smaller bottles.

I drive (my Fit) most of the time when we get out and my husband was insistent that we get the console asap, just for the armrest. He said it was very uncomfortable not having one and I totally agree. You don't realize how much you use an armrest until you don't have one.

BTW, the console is very small. You can put a bottle of water in it but you would not be able to close the lid.

Yeah, I can live with the smaller cupholders, since I'm gaining the armrest and the space inside.. plus two cupholders in the back as a bonus.

As an aside, today I went to my dealer to order two new front clips. Let me just warn all of you: DO NOT BREAK THOSE CLIPS WHEN YOU INSTALL! You would not believe what Honda rapes you for those clips, and I'm too embarassed to say. But, I wanted to complete my installation right, so there it is.

That was the hardest part of the install for me, that socket just did not want to come out of that plastic housing I had to break the tangs that held it in the plastic housing, I'm thinking thats why they include a new on, just in case you mess up the original one.

The Bernari Parts website lists the MSRP for Honda SKU: 91550-S50-000ZL as $2.04 and they sell them for $1.49 each.

I'd find a new parts dealer.

Wow, that was painful. They ripped you off just because they could, and Kopanda's advice is good. You might want to avoid that particular dealer's parts dept. in the future.

I absolutely will. On the plus side, it took the guy at the counter all of about 15 seconds to find the part I needed, so in that regard I was pleased. But I won't be buying any more parts there.

Ya, I just put those two items in my cart and shipping came to $10.02!!!!! For two plastic clips? I'm in NC. Local dealer may actually be cheaper!

Our suggestion to Fit Dragon was not to buy clips from Bernardi, just to find another dealer who does not charge rip-off prices for parts.

Tee hee! That's almost what I paid at the stealership for them. I guess some websites really do make up for cheap prices with inflated shipping.

I found H and A Accessories dot com - Genuine Factory Honda and Acura Accessories at discount prices. Accessories made by Honda and Acura for your car which is where I purchased my floor mats from. Dunno if they carry parts like these clips, but I'll be looking to them in the future, pretty decent pricing on stuff.

I bought acessories for my 2001 Honda CRV (which I traded in for my new Fit) from HANDAaccessories.com. I still need to buy other accessories for my Fit (floor mats, cargo cover, side sill trim, etc.) and I'm debating between HANDAaccessories.com & collegehillshonda.com.

College Hills gave me very fast service on my console (as did HANDA when I ordered from them in the past). HANDA has carpet floor mats that are $10 cheaper but everything else is priced the same.
