Yeah, my father-in-law has a 76 Corolla in the Philippines that I use when my wife and I visit. It's crying for a 3TC turbo swap... lol

My old neighbor back in San Diego has a 78 Corolla wagon with a 18RG with dual mikuni side drafts. It sounds sweet, but it's such a pain to keep tuned...

What's also sweet is my friend's neighbor (also back in SD) that has a 74 corolla with an RX4 rotory swap... I wish I had pictures...

i was looking into a local corolla peanut a little while ago. it would be a fun project car... but i'm too in love with the AE86 corolla to cheat on it with the peanut.
some of those old supras are clean! nice cars. thanks for the pics.

WHOA O_O now that's crazy..

we got my grandpa's yellow '79 corolla with 14k original miles on it ready to be restored x] all it needs is a bit of an upholstery job on just the driver's seat and a small job on the bumper..and it's good as new! x] even the paint is in better condition than my Fit =/ little project me and my younger brother are working on [ well, when funds are available ] x]

 

Not yet. but that's what my next big purchase is. i spotted a perfect cheap body locally. it's an '84 SR5 hatch just crying to have, better brakes, suspension, a JDM redtop 4A-GE motor and LSD rearend put in there.
right after my wedding (january 2nd), i'm going to be saving up for an AE86 hatch jdm conversion/restoration project. :cool:
