Which performance car would u get out of these
I already told you! Z06! That shouldn't even be in the same class as the other ones though. You could very easily include an Exige or E92 for those prices (although I would not recommend the M3, I hear the new one sucks).
Z06 Ftw. Next up would be S2000, or an Sti if you wanna do some off-roading.

I think the new STI looks like a-s-s, I have always been on the Subaru side when it comes to the rivalry between them and Mitsubishi... until now. I really dislike the new Mazda-3 look they have given it.
I'd say Evo.... but S2000 would also be a nice car for cruising.
Yea this car is not going to any tracks. The think i like about the S2000 its a honda and cheap to maintain. I Like the Z06 but not sure how fun it would be to cruise in it. I know its good bang for the buck in performance wise, but i am looking for a weekend/ friday night car to take out. I love the 911 porce thats my favorite car. But i think its more between the S2000 or Evo right now for me.
Yeah but the OP said he isn't really planning on doing anything on the track with it. No doubt the Z06 is a great car and if you are doing a road course or even autocross it would stomp the other ones on that list... but as a performance cruiser it doesn't catch as many looks and it's larger size makes it not as easy to drive in traffic. Staggered tires are also a pain to maintain.

Yeah Subaru really dropped the ball on this one, they were just starting to make a recovery after they introduced the "bubble lights" Impreza after the good looking 99' version. The 04's were better... the 06' was the best looking yet and then they basically just copied a Mazda 3 for the new one!? Really dissapointing.
The new Evo looks great though, they have finally moved away from that lame lancer sedan styling. That new car is designed for looks, I really have to hand it to Mitsubishi on the great styling.
The only thing with the Evo is the quality seems to be lacking a bit compared to the Subaru. Everything from the use of cheap interior finishes to the tin-can feel when you close the door.

I've been keeping my eye on the 09 Cadillac CTS-V. 550+ hp & ft/lbs. About 12 sec in 1/4 mi. Can sit 4 people. Looks classy, but more agressive than standard CTS. That car is at the top of my wish list as of now.
Good luck with your choice!

i don't know anybody who has blown their evo motor, but i only know a few people with that car. still, i wouldn't say that it's easy to blow the engine. i'd go for the evo because it's the only one out of those that's got 4 doors and has more versatility.
Evos don't blow up i owned one.i know lots of people with 400-450awhp on stock internals and there engine is great. But cheap interior i would say is a understatement. That is one reason i am not sure if i want another i love the feel of the car. But hate the lack of a feel of a good quality car inside. I want a good car to cruise in. i am also hating the old vettes style the more i look at it. But i love the look of the new vettes. Its still really between the vette,S2000 maybe evo.
Yeah that is the thing about the Evo's, the new ones seem to have a bit nicer interior... but stlll, for the cost of that car they really don't stack up well to similarly priced cars on the inside.
haha, Vettes are freaking amazing performers, but the style totally says "mullets and chew tabaco" to me.
I don't really like convertables that much, the hard top for the S2K does little to change the feel. That is why I would lean towards the EVO instead.

It's not that it's easy to blow the engine, Mitsubishi just isn't known for reliable cars.
It'd still be a really fun car to drive though :)
I agree with most of the Corvettes. The classics don't say "mullet" to me, but the 70-90s definitely do. The C5 was better, but the C6 although slightly modified was a huge step up in performance/appearance (imo).
I didn't really care about the Corvette until the C6, it's one sharp car.
Record holder for a sedan on the Ring. Very nice choice. I'm really happy to see American car companies making better quality vehicles.

im not a big fan of Corvettes even IF its a Z06. the S2000 looks like it would be TONS of fun to drive around recreationally or for a nice afternoon drive on a sunny day (ive heard they are scary to drive in the rain....ive heard the nick-name "rolling coffin" too many times when it comes to S2000s in the rain), i even asked the salesman at the Honda dealership about the S2000 and he ranted about how impractical it is as a daily driver and that most of his sales are to rich guys looking for a cheap thrill on the weekends. im a BIG fan of the EVO though....all-wheel-drive kicks ass on so many levels and its a bit more practical given its a 4-door, have to fill up with premium gas....but you may not care about that. it IS a little weird you mention a $60,000 car in comparison to a $30 (or so) thousand dollar car...hell, you could get the EVO for $30 Gs or so....and spend a little extra to mod it, theres an option :o)
