for the money, the s2k and the evo are almost similar prices. evo is turbo. but then can't go wrong with the s2k. i'd go with the s2000

I must say....nice choice. In my opinion, to keep the Honda heritage, I would get me a S2000. Sweet car!!

Now, aside from that, what are you really looking for? In my oppinion if you really want performance out of the BOX without mods i'll do the ZO6.

Well i'm not sure yet i want a perfromance car for the weekends for a cruise. I have owned the evo before and loved it. Test drove the S2000 and i have owned a 98 cobra. Not really sure which one i just love all of them and they are the sickest cars i could think that would make me happy. My limit is around $36,000 I just want a nice perfromance car for the weekends and maybe to take out during the week on a specail night. I am thinking the S2000 would be the most reliable and cheap for maintance wise. But the Z06 just is sex.

I'd get a previous gen E39 BMW M5 and use the left over money to modify it. 394 hp and 368 ft-lbs stock? yes, please.

But from your list, I'd take the S2000.

What are you planning on doing with it exactly? Some of them are stronger in certain areas of performance... or is this simply a car to cruise around in on trendy streets?

Its just to cruise on trendy streets only no track or auto x for this car. Never thought of the BMW M3 or Z4

If those are the choices, I'd lean between the Vette or the S2K. But then others also mentioned the Z4, thats a nice little ride as well.

If it is me and I was limited to those choices; I would rock a new Evo for that purpose; car looks mean and at least you have AWD if you need it.

BMW stands for "becomes more work", i can say this cuz i work on euro cars for a living. I doubt this guy wants a money pit.

Evo is nice. Buddy of mine has a IX SE, and he loves it. I'd stick with the S2K tho, and put a hard top on it. As far as bang for the buck it's a toss-up between a Z06 and an Evo. The only thing the S2K has going for it that the others might not is maintenance costs. Hondas last forever you know :D

I already told you! Z06! That shouldn't even be in the same class as the other ones though. You could very easily include an Exige or E92 for those prices (although I would not recommend the M3, I hear the new one sucks).

Z06 Ftw. Next up would be S2000, or an Sti if you wanna do some off-roading.
