But yeah, I think I passed you the other night. Your car looks amazing now. Ive been way busy with school and building vintage mopeds so ive kinda been neglecting my Fit but ive been itching to start ****ing with her again. I definitely wanna meet up though. You guys meet saturdays?

Great pics. Love (old) VWs
My first car was a '67 VW convertible. I drove the crap out of it and sold it back to my dad for $150. He rebuilt the engine, put a new top on it and had it painted, and gave it to my little brother. He drove the crap out of it, and sold it back to my dad. My dad kept the car for a while after we all moved out and he restored it again, this time with new upholstery. When he finished, my brother and I both wanted the car back for some ridiculously low price. My dad told us to go to hell (rightfully so) and sold it for $6500 back in 1987.
Growing up we had at least 8 VWs that I can remember. I always liked that sound the engine made and the smell from the heater coming off the exhuast.

Aircooled VW's are my weak point! I've had over 20 through the years. I currently have a '72 bus (camper) and a '73 Superbeetle (Kafer) that I'm restoring. I buy em, fix em and sell em. If you guys think Fit Freaks are die-hard!
