Beautiful

Thanks for the post. Really gives me perspective.
Does anyone know what the relative size difference of the
US model vs. the UK/JP is? Thanks

EK

PS: Yes, I am the guy constantly freaked out by the US big bumper.
Yes... I know I have a problem : )

Not to make all of us craving the arrival of the Fit feel bad, but take a look at this -- the Honda Airwave, the Fit's bigger sibling, more cargo space, the seat configurations -- everything the Fit has, but roomier and, in my opinion, the extra cargo space makes it look more streamlined. They're holding out on us! Pricier, I'm sure, but with people getting desperate to find something to replace their gas guzzlers and still have room for people & cargo, it's overdue. I thought Honda and Toyota did away with the station wagon. For some reason, even though I see old wagons on the road and people hang onto them until death do us part (I did), these two auto makers seem to think Americans don't like station wagons. As far as I know, the Airwave never left Japan. Too bad...

Fit next to Yaris

From the NY Times article on April 9th, here's a Yaris next to the Fit:

what do you mean what's wrong? if those drawings are correct then the pedals will be right at your knee when you are sitting down.

Ah, I see. :) Yeah, they definitely didn't draw the pedal in correctly.
