If you take the rear bumper off, there's another layer of sheet metal, I cut that out and then pulled the rear fenders out about 3/4 of an inch.

Also cut the inside edges off of the rear bumper

ended up flaring the whole rear

My first set I rolled myself. That wasnt enough as one of my many sets of wheels ended up catching on the fender and cracking/ripping it.
Left about an inch crack in the center of the fender. (above the tire)

Then the passenger side started.

I bought my current fenders from felixy069, or something like that.
He paid to have them pulled. I bought them cheap as hell. :D

Low offset, wide wheels, and small tires.
It can be done on the Fit but youll have to deal with rubbing. If you aren rubbing your stance isnt right.

The bumper mounting tabs can be cut off and you can use a zip tie to secure the rear bumper.

Well I'll bring an old thread back to life. I currently have skunk2's sitting in my room. I have HFP wheels with 15mm spacers in the rear. They rub a bit now when going over big bumps so I know the rear fenders need to be rolled and pulled to prepare for the coils.

Would it be best to just go to a shop. If they chip the paint will they paint it free.

Odds are they will have you sign a waiver that says if they chip/crack your paint they wont do anything about it. You will definitely rub with those spacers in there too.

Hmm, Im going to start visiting local shops. I have until the winter is over to get this done. The rear bumper is 100% color match maybe ill have them flare the fenders and paint the rear end of the car (fenders, bumper) and blend them.
