the sad part is that this thing probably gets better mileage now too cause of the busa motor.

the mpg is probably better than the fit too. unfortunately he cant keep the rear wheels from spinning. :)

The driver of that smart car must be deaf by now with all that engine nose in the compartment.

if you notice that the smart car is stripped down to the max!!!!!

the fit chassis has too much weight for the motorcycle transmission and clutch to handle.

i have thought about doing this many times and have talked with some bike fab guys up here and they think its a sweet idea but a car chassis is too much for that small engine to lug around. only a smart is ideal for this cause of the lightness of it.

plus you would lose your reverse gear.

i have been looking at the honda goldwing 1.3L flat 6 motor to be swapped into a car. it has lots of torque and electronic reverse. :)

I've seen that too & I thought it was nuts also. Loved it, but I still think the fit is a smarter choice than the smart.
