hahah that's totally weak. iirc the prius has something like a 78hp engine. probably wrong but still.

my only beef with the prius is that they charge far out the ass for it, its not breaking technology anymore so why is the price still so very inflated?
hybrids themselves aren't the worst.

earlier i saw this "bad ass" driving a pruis, a teen behind the wheel and he was "revving" the engine -.- prolly touched his little dial to put it in neutrel n wanted to take off the line at 2000 RPM, i dont think he woulda hurt the motor, but he might've fried the circuit board :rotfl:

 

i just hate the batteries and their love of destroying the enviroment...

I'm just not convinced it's the "wave of the automotive future" that people scream it is.

If the Prius is the future...I can just imagine how boring tomorrow would be.

all the hybrids honda has made have been relatively involving to drive.

boring driving cars is a toyota thing. it extends to their hybrid line as well.

 

Yeah I remember the old insights had tons of write ups on how to get 80mpg and other crazy such numbers.

 

heck yea. the original insight still claims the highest mpg rating of any car sold in the U.S.

and people have kept them forever. its super hard to find a used example with low miles.

 

lol today gas powered vehicles dominate, tomorow hybrids dominate. it would be boring as hell. id have to go to nascar to watch some fun lol

 

If you think it's stupid to rev a prius, than it's stupid to rev a fit.

With that said, I hate Prius's.

 

lol, partly true. at least the fits engine note is nice. it maybe underpowered, but the fit is always willing to play. the prius however?....yeah, this video is just as bad as those prius drivers who speed down the highway at like 90mph. (probably still getting better mileage than me though ha!)

Yeah, that's true. But to EVERYONE who doesn't own a fit, it's just another econobox. The fit is a little rev happy. Kinda peppy.

 

agreed. although i will say that most folks who ask me about it comment on its 'niceness' compared to other econoboxes. especially with the new one, which while it may not be to everyones taste (ahem, yours, ahem ;)), it looks more upscale.

i don't own a Fit, and i don't think that :P....i hate prius' and hybrid/electric vehicles in general...people don't realize that really those vehicles are step back in technology (especially electric)...

when i drive my car i know that i can go a few hundred miles stop for five minutes and go a few hundred more miles and repeat this over and over.

Whereas when you drive an electric car you go 200 miles, stop for 8 hours, and repeat...

hmmm....does that sound better to you?

 

yeah i know, they jsut go in circles for 5 hours lol except when they crash, thats usually the fun part to the audience heh but nascar is the only place where they will continue to use gas on thier vehicles

 

Naa, the GE grew on me a lot, but I still would never want to own one. I've seen some great ones (Tjin's) as well.

f1 isnt as aggresive -shrugs- as far as ive seen. and i dont see too many f1 races lol how ever, i do lik ehow they zoom past the cams

f1's got great sound.

The best racing though, is when speed use to put on the Dakar Rally, now thats fun to watch.
