Is it true? The SCC will not release magazine anymore??

It was my fav one! All about hardcore stuff!

I'm really sad right now. :(

yes it is true.

I had a subscription to SCC and there last issue was the February issue, i think. Now all who subscribed to SCC are getting another magazine, "modified", to replace the rest of their SCC subscription term.

 

I miss SCC, but Modified has been a pretty good replacement.

 

I Totally Miss SCC!!!!! They WERE THE BEST !!! All engineering and hardcore stuff I loved it... I could read the whole magazine in one seating it was like my automotive Crack !!

Modified is Ok... and it is better since they have some of the writers from the older SCC magazines... but they are just not hardcore enough.. blah

SCC PLEASE COME BACK !!!

 

SCC was an instituation I had tons of SCC along with Import Tuner, Honda Tuning and of course Siphon which I miss the most.

Oh well times are definitely changing. There's not enough coverage on Import Tuner or Modified on the FIT or Scion cars to warrant me to subscribe to any of the magazines now.

When I find an issue that I like I'll just buy it from the rack.

Wow. I haven't picked up one of those magazines in a long time, but it was the best of the tuner magazines. I have a couple of issues from way back in 1992.

 

i think the last SCC mag i read was back 2004. lol kinda tells you that one can get hell of lots of info online for free...

 

Yeah, i am pretty sure that rag is dead.

 

nobody know another hardcore mag?

 

Unfortunately the only good ones are in Japanese... "Options".... and maybe Grassroots Motorsports

i already know japanese. :D but i rarely stop by the j-bookstore these days.
not really needed cause you can get so much info online.

plus the bestmotoring vid's are kinda dead too (material that is).

 

yeah SCC is dead but modified is now basically SCC v.2 so it's all good....also project car (i think that's what it's called) is pretty hardcore...
