I personally like the CrossTour...I think it'll hit a particular market perfectly. If it were say, 5 years from now, I'd be seriously considering it as an option.

so apparently honda released pricing a short while ago:
2010 Honda Accord Crosstour Prices and EPA Data

EPA**ModelTransmissionMSRP*City/Hwy/Combined

Accord Crosstour 2WD EX5-Speed Automatic $29,670 18/27/21
Accord Crosstour 2WD EX-L5-Speed Automatic $32,570 18/27/21
Accord Crosstour 2WD EX-L Navi5-Speed Automatic $34,770 18/27/21
Accord Crosstour 4WD EX-L5 Speed Automatic $34,020 17/25/20
Accord Crosstour 4WD EX-L Navi5-Speed Automatic $36,220 17/25/20

*Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) excluding tax, license, registration, $710 destination charge and options.
$30k to start, $37K fully loaded seems really steep. it's also an understatement to say this puppy hasn't been well received...

not sure what honda's thinking, but at $37k there are lots of options

I like how it looks, but it's pretty damn expensive.

for $26k i could have a fully loaded 2007 Forester XT.. IMO, the crosstour fails miserably.

::EDIT::
forgot to mention that $26k is the used price of a Forester XT

Exactly. Honda needs to tighten up and come to their senses.

Why this and no Accord Wagon for the US? This isn't a very practical car/suv/crossover.

i found this interesting:
First Drive: 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour goes down the road nicely... but is that enough? — Autoblog

...a Lincoln MKZ rolled up, a window whirred down, and two gray-tufted heads popped out. "What is it?" inquired the couple in boisterous unison. Silence. "It's the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour," we eventually blurt out, my co-driver sounding suspiciously apologetic. "It's... it's gorgeous!" The late-sixty-something man isn't being facetious – in fact, he's gushing – taking his hands off the Lincoln's wheel and gesturing as if to reinforce his sincerity. AutoBlog.com

looks like Honda hit their demographic right on the nose.

Fit has more interior space....

From Honda's website:
The Crosstour has 51.3 cubic ft of space behind the front seats.....
The Fit has 57.3!
I am extremely pleased by this car's packaging. While most love it just for it's sporty character/drive, I love it as the mobile swiss army knife of cars. Drives sporty, yet has great MPG. Fit's in tight traffic situations and parking spaces, and has enormous cargo capabilities. Nothing but love for the Fit from me.

I saw one at a dealer (there for parts). That thing is HUGE. A salesman said it was the biggest car Honda has ever made. It weighs in at 4030 lbs., 500 more than a CRV and 1660 more than a Fit. EPA fule milage is 17/25 (Fit's is 28/35). I don't believe I'll be getting one.
