Installed HIDs in the 09 Civic today

It actually went REALLY quickly. The 9006 relay harness was really well made, and I routed everything to hide with factory wiring so you really can't tell anything was installed, other than the fact the inline fuse is ziptied to another corregated wire hide. I really like the color, it is very similar to my 1st set of HIDs for the CG3. It's very purple with a hint of blue. The camera doesn't really do it justice but it looks sick as hell. Whole project was about an hour start to finish. It was super hot out too so there was gobs of sweat pouring out of my nitrile gloves.

Some shots of the Slim Digital Ballasts(tested to work while fully submerged in water)

Totally factory looking, all you can see is the Fuse

Nice Purple/White 6000k Lows, light coating 4300k hyperwhite 9005 highs

I was gonna do 3000k highs but it's my girls car so she veto'd it. Very easy install for me and it came out really well. Total cost of project, $60 bux for the new ballasts and harness, already had the bulbs.

Thanks a bunch. It's actually my girls car, and it's been like 95 degrees outside, so even though I hauled ass on the install, there was sweat pouring out of my nitrile gloves(always wear them for bulbs/electrical/body work) like I was pouring out glasses of water.

And today the Mugen style visors came for the 09 civic as well, so it will have the same tint percentages as the fit, and same style visors. We leave for Vegas tomorrow so I can't wait to have these babies on because its almost 700miles each way, and would rather crack a window for as long as possible and cut down on A/C usage. Last time when we took the fit, once it initially cooled down, the visors kept it nice in the car the whole trip. Not to mention it cuts down on helicopter noise
