Not to worry. It continues to live as a Chevrolet Silverado. At least underneath the god-awful H2's sheet metal that's what it is. The H3 may be had as a Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon. They're all H1 wannabees. AM General continues to make those (although today you'd have to enlist to drive a new one).

The H2 is built on the previous generation GM truck platform.
The military is working on the replacement for the HMMWV. I think this makes the Hummer brand worth even less as the pseudo military tie in will not have the marketing value it once did.

Good riddance Hummer. All their vehicles are hugely impractical - not everything that works on the battlefield will work as well in the daily civilian grind.

On a perfect world, GM's entire lineup would be next....

Who the hell uses a Hummer for getting around town? lol, wait... probably everybody but me :)

I will be sad to see the brand go, but it was probably the most mis-used brand of vehicle out there. Rappers blinging them out with useless rims and chrome, soccer moms using them to drive their kids to school.... neighbors trying to one-up each other. Kind of sucks for the enthusiasts that acutally use them.
