2002 AerioSX vs 2007 Honda FIT!

Hey me and my buddy met up earlier today and got some pics and did a few runs back and forth.. hes got an 02' Suzuki AerioSX 2.0L with some mods so hes got mabye 120-130hp? anyways from a dead stop it was a decent fight up to 60mph (the fit had the lead all the way) but from 60+ he got me easy.. here is a link to the posting about it on some other fourms.. take a look!

Yeah, with the new ones having 155hp and 152 toque and only weighing in at 2698 the Fit doesn't stand a chance. I wish the fit has more power like some of the domestic cars in it's class but I'm more interested in the gas mileage and cargo room. If I wan't power I'll drive my 280z or 300zx. At least you gave him a good run. Once you get some mods on there it should be better.

I can say that I have enjoyed my Aerio. The two things that I dislike about the car is the lack of aftermarket support and the lack of resale value. I have put 85k on my 03 and never had a problem out of it.

The best time I ever got out of it was a 15.9@88. I had my car dynoed for laughs at a local charity event and with intake, exhaust, and underdrive pully my car put down 133hp/140tq. Mine was a 2.0l with only the 145hp/141tq from the factory

I almost bought an Aerio twice. I really liked them, but didn't buy them for the reasons mentioned above. The 2.3 was pretty gutsy for what it was.
