Juked?
Did a quick search and didn't see a thread on this one yet. The all new Nissan Juke:
I guess it's supposed to have 180hp from a 1.6L direct inject 4-cylinder turbo. Nissan's crazy CVT or a very manly 6spd manual. There's an AWD model with toque vectoring, but not if you choose the manual trans. It looks big, but it's being compared to a Mazda 3. It's smaller than the Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4.
What do you guys and gals think? I like the unique styling of the Cube (my wife has one) and I like this. It's interesting and looks like a lot of fun to drive. This might just be my next car.

I have liked CVT on the motor scooters I have owned and wouldn't mind it at all on a car if I used it primarily in an urban setting.... Even Subaru only offers CVT automatics on the turbocharged Outback and I think in the Forester as well as a CVT that simulates a 6 speed paddle shift automatic.... We got our Forester with the N/A engine and 5 speed manual since a 6 speed wasn't offered in that model and we seldom drive in heavy traffic.... It is too bad that the Juke isn't also available with a 6 speed in AWD but Subaru claims the CVT has better off road performance so it is probably a good choice for the Juke.

Well you asked what we think, I think it is quite ugly. Looks to much like a 'look at me now' car that will age very quickly. Don't really care for the interior either, red is my favorite color, but that candy looking red plastic looks cheap to me and doesn't really go well with the maroonish red material on the doors and seats.
Granted this is just my opinion and I'm sure others will think the exact opposite, but this is what I feel. On top of that, it's a Nissan. Any company that needs a French one to keep them afloat is not a very good one in my book. :) Sort of joking, but sort of serious.

interior isn't great..i hate the center stack.
looks big..and won't handle well...but power is good though. meh.

If the lighting on top of the fenders were painted or the lenses tinted black it would make a big difference in the appearance..... I think so but what the hell do I know about style, I am anything but a metrosexual though there is nothing wrong with anything sexual if it is between 2 consenting adults or maybe more if you are into that kind of thing.
