Very nice. I wanted a Miata until I sat in one - not the best car for tall guys.

I'm 6'0 180lbs and I'm pretty comfortable in it lol. Drove it 3.5 hours to Baltimore last week and wasn't complaining even without A/C haha

thanks lol it came with the dual exhaust. The muffler and midpipe go for almost $600 new! I'm eventually going to swap it out for a Buddy Club Spec 2 or Corksport Drift single exhaust. We'll see. Both are over $100 cheaper than my current setup, and a lot louder.

Thanks yall. I do miss the EG2 but I had 2 del Sol's now. One died and the other got stolen. So I think I'm done with them lol but I will be looking for a beater for winter. Probably a rusty CRX or Civic.

You have a very good looking Miata!!! I would have preferred a darker shade of CF both for the hard top and the "head light intake", or is it just because of the sunlight making it look like kevlar'ish in color?

Still, that's one badass looking Miata..

it is kevlar lol I am going to paint the lid cover. Not sure what to do about the hardtop yet. Might paint it or trade it for an OEM one.

I'd say just paint it over if you want to (though it looks good already anyway) but I would not trade the top for the OEM IMO.

del and sol are both 3 letter words so maybe 3 times the charm lol. But yea, I remember yer last one getting jacked and I had a mild tear coming out. Thinking of finding another one if someone hopefully buys my fit...sometime here.

If I was in my 40s or 50s (to have the cash flow necessary) I'd get this:

Flyin' Miata : V8 configurator

But, since I don't, and sourcing a V8 and getting the swap done RIGHT still costs at LEAST $10,000 I'm gonna go with this 265whp turbo kit for $5,300

Flyin' Miata : Turbochargers : 1996-97 : 1996-97 FM II Hydra turbo system

But that's not until I get the car looking and handling the way I want it to. Seats, harness, rollbar, swaybars, LSD, head/taillight upgrade, bodykit come first to me. Otherwise I have to wait til like December to even afford the turbo. I'd rather have fun stuff to play with while I save!

thanks towelie! lol every time I see your name now I think of the latest Towelie episode, the intervention. "Just let me walk on the sunshine a little longer!" haha

Clayed and waxed my baby today:

Also, moving out this month so I can stop hearing people say "you can only afford your shit cuz you live with mommy and daddy." That gets old fast lol and it's not even true. I can afford to mod AND move out, it's just that they're not pushing me out so I figured more mods in less time haha. Next pics will be with a fat x-brace rollbar visible in the back window ;D
