Porsche has introduced its new Cayman R at the motor show in Los Angeles. It is one of the special models in the R series reserved for the exclusive models. This sports car is lightweight thus exhilarating the speed for perfect road dynamics.

The specification of the Porsche car is as follows:

- Six cylinder boxer engine of 3.4 litre
- Gear box with six speed manual
- Speed accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds
- Sprint time of 4.9 seconds with double clutch PDK gear box
- On Combining with the optional sport chrono sprint time reduces to 4.7 seconds
- High speed of 282 km/h if operated manually

In addition to these spectacular figures this car runs on NEDC fuel giving the mileage of 9.7 L per 100 km in the manual mode otherwise with PDK it gives 9.3 L per 100 km. With the weight of just 1,295 kilogram’s, the power to weight ratio has been reduced in ratio by providing the manual gearbox of just 5.32 kg per kilowatt.

The most amazing feature is the climate controlled air conditioning and the communication system with six discs CD charger, IPod, radio, Bluetooth and sat-nav also. It’s fitted with sports bucket shaped seats which are lightweight, aluminium doors, alloy wheels of 19 inch making it lighter than most other cars in the same category. It’s available with two seater capacity.

The body work of the car and other features like rear spoiler, silver painted wheels all give it a high class look.
