A dear friend finally broke and decided to buy an economical hatchback and bought the Ford Fiesta. He was all giddy, brought it home, and decided to start playing with all its features. Well, the sync needed an update but there was some sort of error and couldn't get it done.

He told me that never in his life has he needed to call tech support for an issue with a car! LOL

 

I've heard some horror stories about the sync system.

 

Hope he likes the car... I didnt like the interior... feels so tight and unegronomical. The seats are weird as well.

i do like the Ken Block Fiesta... just cuz its fast... his Subbies are better

 

i was looking into the fiesta as well, but at the end of the day at the dealer lot i just couldn't see myself driving away in a ford. second choice was actually the yaris, but the guage clusters totally killed the car for me.

 

i liked the exterior of the focus, but the interior was too strange for me, the center dash looks like an alien, and i do not like red led's (common on kia's and vw's as well).

the mazda2 interior seemed much more normal even if it's not as good of a value as the fiesta. also the fiesta rear visibility on the hatch was worse than the sedan ... what is up with that? i buy hatches for visibility as well as space.

the yaris i wanted to like, i really like the hatch look and the front end especially however the car is just too cheap inside, while i found the fit acceptable.

my last car was a 98 volvo v70 and it held up extremely well over the years, i really wonder what the poor fit will look like in 5 years let alone the 13 the v70 went!

 

4 wheel drive and a wide body kit will make anything likable :)
